What started out as a hobby to raise money for a day program for adults with cognitive challenges has become a staple in the local chocolate community.

The day program, Alternatives, is now a registered charity in Vaughan that operates on its own and has over 25 members including Phyllis’ youngest daughter, Rita.  Chocolate Concepts is one of the proud companies involved in the work training program and in fundraising events for the organization.

Through our unique relationship, we take pride in supporting Alternatives' mission of assisting individuals living with developmental challenges to integrate meaningfully within their communities by providing both life and job-skills training and experience.
